So, if you're playing with a controller you get less recoil, but you have to deal with joysticks to aim.
On keyboard and mouse, you get more recoil yeah, but since you have a mouse it's not a big deal as it's easier to aim.
I just thought it was neat the devs went that far as to have the game switch on the fly.

I just did placements and hit gold 2 and I'm pretty shocked at the level of play that gold players have. Callouts don't seem common enough, but a lot of players do seem to have fairly solid aiming abilities.

I'm also shocked at how chill the general player is in ranked. I figured it'd be a real shit show but people are pretty nice for the most part.

The biggest difference I've found between console players and PC players on this game is console players is map awareness. In general PC players rely much more on their aim to win matches then actual tactics. While console players tend to win more because of positioning, simply because it is harder to aim. At least from what I've witnessed. This is coming from a console shitter who outplayed pc players simply cause I knew how to actually play the game.

Were you playing casual? Because a lot of PC players in casual have terrible map knowledge. In ranked peeks and defenders pushing outside is much more common.

Siege has a fucking ton of map memorization needed in order to actually play it well. Knowing where common spawn peek spots are and where you can be peeked from while outside is vital.
