Because we wanted you to pirate the game and not have to deal with refunds. Game is atrocious regardless
It's good, but at the same time, it's very uninspired.
It's basically Arkane going "hey, we like System/Bioshock, why don't we make that?"
It's too bad the soundtrack is so dull though, especially since Mick Gordon worked on it. Though even he admits the soundtrack could've been better (especially with combat).
I'd say it's a solid 6/10. Just above average, but nothing really noteworthy. Good for a weekend romp.

This is true. Once you have the power and learn how to deal with the most dangerous enemies (nightmares and X-paths depending on the situation) the rest of the game is a breeze.

This and it was too easy even on nightmare. Shotgun + Combat Focus or psyshock trivialized every enemy. Not to mention the countless amounts of junk lying around you can smelt down into absurd amounts of ammo.
