Why no other dev can do driving be as satisfying as in GTA 5?

5 didnt do anything right but having the most 'cohesive' open world to date

the shooting was floppy and felt stale/weak, the driving was just ok, not really satisfying, characters were badly written, story was average with same rockstar tropes

the only really good thing about it is how the open world was the most balanced ive seen in a while in terms of original content/repetition ratio

I recently played GTA IV on PC and I then played GTA V

gta iv is MILES ahead of GTA V.
the way they react to cars is so different, if you try to run them over. gta v is really shit in that regard

Really, with it's stupid high grip, completely flat suspension, instant acceleration, and braking? How are you deriving satisfaction from something so without challenge and handholdy? Literally every single other GTA game has more satisfying driving than V. I mean, IV does everything to try to slow down the player, and because of that being able to weave through traffic and hit all the 90 degree turns at high speeds without over/under steering is satisfying. But V is so simplistic, and tries to be as accessible as possible, there's no feeling of accomplishment to be had as there's nothing to overcome.
