Depends on the budget, I wouldn't expect many considering how big they already are.

I may be wrong, but didn't they say in an interview or something that there would be more moons to collect than the collectables in past games? If so then that means it'll be more than 240 if I'm remembering the Galaxy games correctly.

That said, I think they say that some levels will have upwards of 30-50 moons to collect, that that could factor in heavily.

I just think that 3D Land being solely single player helps it be a better single player experience. 3D World is built around the crazy things that can happen in multiplayer. They're both good in their own ways.

So are there any islands on the map that will most likely be levels? I see at least three that look suspicious. Top one is mushroom shaped, most likely being the Mushroom Kingdom, larger one is probably and ice area, and the bottom one, albeit a stretch, looks like a cartoony water splash, so I'd guess, if theres a water/island focused level, thats it.

There are two kinds, regular moons and Grand moons. Regular moons can be found all over the place, and might mark progress (grab a moon and some platforms spawn to the next). . You also don't have to leave the level when you get one.

Grand Moons kick you out if the level and open a new version of it, like at night or with a major landscape change.

4 to 6 worlds will later be released as DLC as part of a Season Pass, dubbed the "Passport" next year for $20-30 depending on the amount of worlds in the DLC relative to the base game with some added goodies like new outfits, new features and maybe playable Luigi if he's not playable in the base game.

I feel asking for an extra half a game spread out and costing half the base game's price is fine as far as DLC goes.

Isn't the hat world basically the spooky world? Cappy is basically a ghost.
I hope luncheon isn't the lava world, since it has a volcano.

Gonna guess it'll end up similar to BOTW's dungeons. Less than normal but the different style of everything makes it so that you don't feel like you've missed out

I hope the stages are memorable.

My biggest problem with Galaxy was that the stages are all forgettable as fuck.

We've only seen 7 worlds so far, I expect 1 more level, the mushroom island, maybe a secret 9th world in space.
