I tried playing this earlier on the bus, because I was told it was offline, and I spent over five minutes waiting for it to connect to some server to load a local game file?
Then there were like 3 ads in between, then I fought with the name input for another minute because the control pad is the worst I've ever seen on a smartphone.
Out of curiosity I downloaded an emulator and a rom to see if it was just the port, and in 30 seconds I had the game up and running and working fine.
Thanks for the effort Sega, but no thanks.
Sonic is fine, but there are too many ads to be fun.
