What are some games that you enjoyed that, for one reason or another, are based on original ideas that you haven't experienced often?
Example: There's a game on iOS called Sarah is Missing that not only simulates a smartphone interface but also replicates calls and video players

I played Sarah is Missing earlier this year. You can get it on PC but I highly recommend playing on phone for the atmosphere. It's dumb with a couple "Spoopy Jump Scares" but it's a quick play

Yeah but that is my example
I'm looking for more games that use a concept hardly used in videogames but not just for mobile

>"Spoopy Jump Scares"
Which are? Also, this girl is pretty hot.

There are some very cheesy jump scares with pictures taken from the internet
But the atmosphere makes them work well if you're willing to keep your suspension of disbelief

I never found any of the jump scares. I did like that I had to fool around on the phone, but I hate games that give the illusion of choice like this. No point in typing with the keys when it already decides what you can say.
never will be another game this fun or unique. truly one of a kind.
also, while im mentioning very japanese games, mr mosquito and no one can stop mr domino! are equally quirky and unique

What makes them so unique?
