Expansive living world with tons of characters that you can recruit. They all have their own personalities and schedules. The story is pretty good and the battle system is alright its and action rpg that has a system where you create your combos before you go into battles.

My laptop is literal trash and can't play anything more recent than Stalker, let alone effective ps2 emulation.
Does anyone have experience with modding a ps2 to read off of USB? I seem to remember this being possible. I've modded an iPod to replace the harddrive with an SD card so I know it's possible to some degree. There are just so many ps2 games I want to experience

It depends on which PS2 you have. USB is a no go, PS2's USB was gen 1.0 so it's even worse than a floppy.

If you have a fatty you can mod in a HDD but you need an adapter. With a slim it's easier to connect your laptop to your PS2 with an ethernet cable and read the games off the laptop. You can also do the ethernet thing with a fatty, this is the absolute poorfag method and it has compatibility issues.

Keep in mind that you'll need a modded PS2 for any method. Either with chip or with a Modded Memory Card.

Now I think "there are about ten billion games I want to play and I get 10 hours of free time per day. It'd take me over a week to finish a JRPG playing non-stop, years to finish everything I want to. Maybe I'll just play Overwatch."
