I just started playing Darkest Dungeon a couple of days ago.
I like it.
First 2-3 hours were fun, the next 2-3 were shitty as I could not manage to do anything, then it became fun again once I started having higher level heroes.
Any recommendations for parties?
I'm still trying all the heroes, but I kinda like Crusader/Bounty Hunter/Grave Robber/Occultist.

I'm already getting pissed off with RNG bullshit quite a bit. Everything's going fine, then all of the sudden everyone just fucking happens at the same time and everybody dies.
I'm playing Legend of Grimrock 2 when I get too frustrated.

Best thing to do after a bullshit party wipe is to just take the edge off with another game for a bit yeah. I'll come to like a party or come up with something interesting and you go in and try to do the same run again and just every fucking thing goes wrong. Fuck me but there is only so much mitigation a person can actively take to ensure it doesn't go wrong, just to get anally annihilated by party stress or a bad turn.
Game is fun though when it does go right or at least just good and bad, as opposed to getting raw dogged.
