The most probable survival is Silent Hill because the entities behind it are behind your dreams and fears. I don't understand these people so fearful of Silent Hill. Of course it'd be horrifying, but the monsters are far weaker than anything crawling around raccoon city. A zombie infestation would be near impossible to survive in a cramped city, plus risk of infection and nuke. Raccoon City's factors are much more extreme, while Silent Hill is just spookier. Ive played 1, 2 and 3 and there isn't much there that you couldn't take on alone.

Considering what zombies are like in RE, I always wonder if it would be as bad in real life. I mean, even in non-gun toting places like England, a zombie shouldn't be able to just push people around without resistance. Sure, it may be able to attack a few unsuspecting people, but everyone should be able to realize that the person is infected with SOMETHING, then the knowledge that it is transferable would be realized rather quickly. If I go left, I'm either in my own personal hell, or nothing happens to me. If nothing happens to me, the zombie outbreak will eventually go beyond Racoon City and fuck me over in the end. Seems like a lose/lose situation if I go left. At least if I go right, I get to be proactive with the zombie outbreak and try to put a stop to it, or have fun as I die trying.

Well, if you're already seeing a sign for Silent Hill, it's probably already too late. Also Raccoon City was nuked, so all there is is a radioactive pile of debris. If they're really that close together, the fallout probably reached Silent Hill as well.
