I actually really enjoyed the idea of APB

The whole cops vs robbers thing was well done I thought. Arresting people was fun, killing people was fun, driving around the city blasting custom music was fun, tagging buildings with porn was fun.... the list goes on

Customization was fucking amazing in APB

The fact that you could customize your vehicles with any picture you wanted and have everyone see it was groundbreaking at the time imo

I think APB Reloaded was some of the most fun I've ever had in an online open world game. Just running around the city with my bros in Ventrilo blowing shit up. And it was always fun "chasing" the criminals when they were stealing something only to have my friend waiting a few blocks down the road with an RPG.

Heres the deal, theh have been promising an engine upgrade for 5 years. They said they first need to release a working version of apb on both xbone and ps4. As a previous anon posted, it is utter shit and nearly unplayable due to near constant lag spikes. I wouldnt hold my breathe. G1 already made enough money selling premium subscriptions and p2w guns to make a profit off the game.
