This. Switch is the only console I've ever had where I seriously think I'm fine with downgraded versions of multiplats. Take 3DS for instance, when they released Xenoblade Chronicles on it I had no desire to buy it because the screen is too small, and there was an eshop version of the game for wii/wiiU. But the Switch has a good 720p screen that doesn't burn my eyes, and I can play the same games on my TV. I'd gladly buy a game like Dragon Quest Heroes with downgrades for the Switch, though I do feel like that port was a lazy one that could have been much better than "just port the PS3 version".

There are probably some games I'd still prefer to get the best version of graphically, but they're in the minority because graphic really don't elevate most games above their gameplay. I'd get a graphically downgraded Dark Souls 3, for example.
