Does /v/ agree?
Skyrim is actually more varied than RDR but both are shit
You should put something like Gothic in the top to show how even though it's physically smaller there is so much more content packed into that it's actually a bigger game than skyrim

Why not?

>Skyrim is actually more varied than RDR
Prove it.
Just Cause 2's world was fine. It had a fair amount of variation and the more empty areas were good for vehicle shit.

Show me where Skyim's map is copy pasted, I agree the interiors of dungeons and caves are recycled garbage, but that's not what your image is saying.

>RDR
all one terrain type filled with nothing but random bandit outposts and animals
>Skyrim
At least a few terrain types with some statically designed locations, dungeons, and cities to boot
>>381350051
>the more empty areas
99% of the map you mean? Not to mention every town was he same
I think RDR is good but its open world aspect has been blown out of the water. It's pretty much theme park sized and the game is good because of the scripted parts not because of the roaming.

You literally described Skyrim

Says game world not map
>>381350084
RDR had deserts, forrests, swamps, a winter setting and some towns. What the fuck are you talking about?

I agree that the argument about world size, content density, and content uniqueness is a valid one. Actually it would potentially be a really interesting discussion if this wasn't /v - it's going to get derailed hard, here, obviously.
I don't really agree with the examples though. Not sure RDR or DS have notably more unique content than Skyrim or JC. Make a better OP on the same topic and you might actually have something worth discussing.
