devs got some serious criticism about boss fights in base game so they went a little overboard in the Hearts of stone. Frog Prince, Gravedigger and Beheaded Olgierd was 10 times harder to beat than goddamn Eredin.
So, this, and confusion of the players getting used to just slicing with whirlwind through everything.
