A lot of hackers went on record saying that the 3DS firmware was chances are harder to break down and figure out how to backdoor then say the PS4's is, but the other factor is that there has to be a drive, and an interest in such work being done in the first place for it to even matter.
PSP got hacked because they where cheap, and no one's doing much with the Vita as no one cares about the Vita outside of a small handful at best.
Nintendo though? That's mass appeal, that's the biggest thing on the earth. Every single hacker who cares about poking into that stuff wants in, and you might notice there's only a few notable names even with a claim like that. That's because those few are the only few who've been smart and savvy enough to actually get results while everyone else keeps tossing darts randomly. You need those random tosses though to build results, and it's far easier to get results when it's not just you banging your head over the brick wall to take notes from.

No one cares about the Sony or Microsoft systems though in that fashion, it doesn't help that most of their games are on PC ether, so outside of turning them into emulation machines ( and even then, why when the 3DS/Switch are handheld and far more portable? ), it's really just zero interest. I'm quite sure if people honestly cared, there would be a ton of back doors by now on the same level, if not better implemented then Nintendo's systems have gotten.

I'm pretty sure you could do the same thing, if not more so, but again, take a look at the forums and other locations, the people who honestly put the work and effort into this stuff couldn't really give a rat's ass about those consoles. The few who can are pretty damn low on the totem pole on skillsets and are scrubbing their way towards results, hence why PSVita only just now got the first few steps for direct downloading from the Sony Servers for pirating, just like 3DS can with Freeshop and FBI. No real hacker cares about those systems, if they did, they would be wide open by now.
