In all honesty, it was the 4th game that completly ruined it, Fallout 3 is alright by itself as long as you just don't think about the game world. But when comparing Fallout 3 to New Vegas, yeah it falls to shambles.

Not a good example because dead space 3 co-op is amazingly fun.
The microtransactions, lack of horror, human enemies and bad story are unforgivable though.
