There are multiple hairstyles and some work better to frame the face than others, but I find that generally short hair, or at the very least a ponytail, frame the face best. It doesn't really do anything for me when a girl lets her hair down.

The original style used a lot more black. Both heavier lines and a lot more shadows. New stuff is softer with less strong exaggerations. The old style is more distinct and it fits the tone of the story much better.
