The music does change in battle though.

I just started playing this game and I'm already enjoying the atmosphere of the game. Sure it's barren but I'm hoping the game explains why that is the case.

I see it as a good experiment, but overall a poor game.

The camera, controls, and performance (for the platform it launched on) are sub-par. The aesthetic is focused, but to the point of myopia. The visuals are washed out and suffer from "Next Gen Gray", where developers got their light modeling all wrong and destroyed color saturation.

I give them credit for trying, but that's all.

Ico was honestly better in every way.

Its ok op, not all games are made for all people. There is no such thing as the perfect game, only perfect games. Essentially, there is no game that is perfect for everyone, only games that are perfect for certain people. SotC is an example of this, for some people it is perfect. For others it might be Crusader Kings 2, others may think Gears of War, for others Marvel vs. Capcom 2. The point is, why spend time on a game that obviously isn't what you are looking for, and instead devote your energy to a game that you do enjoy? Unless of course you are just a salty faggot desperate for (you)s.
