I downloaded this game because Playstation said it was "free."

But after the first two missions, everything was locked and costed an absurd amount.

$10 for each additional mission? Explain that.

Explain how the game is fun either, it seemed like the easiest thing ever because the HUD just walks you through everything too.

My dream level since Blood money thats now possible would be a pro football game with the Star QB as the target. Easy way would be

That's called a free trial, and you just played tutorial missions. Most of that HUD shit you should disable. Try turning everything off and playing around with the levels again. I think they also have a number of challenges. Try those.

Don't pay per mission. You should be able to do one purchase to get the full game. The actual levels are way bigger than the tutorial.

but hitman games are all like really easy once you know how to play, the general idea is less that you should be just smuggling in a sniper and using it every mission, and more that theyre very open-ended with a lot of replayability because of just how many possible ways there is to set up a kill
just make sure youre good at mentally planning out actions so you dont paint yourself into a corner

I wish the final level of Season 2 would pit you against another Assassin, who can rig traps in the world just like you can. The whole thing would be a massive cat-and-mouse game as you have to carefully navigate the level while looking for clues as to who your Assassin is disguised as.

I know a good kill in that one. If you shot the guy while he was running with the ball he would drop dead on the ground and all the other players chasing him would jump in front of the body and essentially give you like 30 seconds to sneak out before they realized he was dead. Or maybe you could sprinkle the field with a water hose and when the players jumped into the QB he would drown in the pud of water.

why would that need to be asked when we already know what hitman gameplay is like? You roam around big levels disguising as people to try and get a target without being seen. The fuck do you want? MGSV shooting mechanics? Hitman has always been pretty straight forward and it's biggest appeal is the level design.

Honestly, if they make a Season 2 of HITMAN where all your unlocks carry over, there was no "always online" requirement, and it had more atmpsheric levels with a Jesper Kyd OST I would buy it day one.

I think it would be neat if we had another small, comfy level like A New Life, or a level like the Heaven and Hell Nightclub, playboy Christmas party, or the casino from Blood Money. To be honest, A New Life and the opera level were probably the best levels they should emulate in terms of possibilities and how fun they were to play, but the atmosphere and OST in Blood Money is also a big reason I keep going back to it.

Also, I enjoyed Blood Money's progression system more than HITMAN 2016, mainly because the newspaper with statistics at the end was awesome and the money you earn from the mission could be used for actual upgrades. Now they just have it so if you complete a certain number of achievements from levels (which tell you what to do or how to beat the level) gives you upgrades and equipment instead, which ruins it for me.

Hitman is, at its heart, a playground. It has an objective, and a number of different ways to reach that objective, but the real fun comes from making up shit as you go. Following the objectives by the letter is a quick way to a boring time.
