I perfered the explosive rifle in RDR, it was so fun lying in wait for a someone to come riding in on a horse just to stunlock them from explosions. And then get in a explosive rifle war for 30 minutes. This happened way too many times to count.

Well if you are desperate the "Large Ember" should be somewhere in the depths, you can give it to Andre and make +10 weapons. Blighttown can be pretty tough the first time, so maybe go to Darkroot and have a look around. You might even find a way to skip the majority of Blighttown

Well then you weren't very good. Claymore gives you free dead angles whenever you want them with its two handed r2, has good poke with one handed r2 and rolling two handed r1, and has a very quick running two handed r1 that is also capable of dead angling and does this all with very respectable damage. I found it to be one of the best pvp weapons in Dks1.
