I try to look at it like going to the movies. A movie ticket is 10-15 dollars for about 2 hours of entertainment. so for every 10-15 dollars spent on vidya i expect at least 2 hours of fun of course most games will get you more than 2 hours of fun.

I started tracking my backlog on a spread sheet with games installed to play and which ones I beat and that helps me remember to not start games before i finish one and for every 4-5 games I beat I will buy a new game that I been want to play.
