Man, me and my brother fell for that scam. We used to co-op TMNTIV on the SNES a lot. It was probably some of the best memories I had with him so when we heard there was a remake coming, we were stoked.
He eventually bought it in 2009 or whenever and we played through it start to finish. It was shit. The graphics were fucking awful for starters. Everything looked really cheap and had that stupid, trendy backlight look that I hate. Sound effects were fucking worse than the SNES. Hits were grating as fuck. The general gameplay just didn't feel good either. God fucking damnit. We never went back.
