I thought Crash and Gex were pretty annoying but Bubsy is the worst.

There's tons more animal mascots and some are probably even more annoying and/or worse than Bubsy, like Awesome Possum.
Can't believe the amount of youtubers who made videos going "I don't get it why Bubsy is back, he's so bad guise xd"

Maybe. The issue isn't that Bubsy was a dumb character but that it tried so fucking hard to be a multimedia thing and so in the early 90's when they really pushed him everywhere to be this new big thing it just caused everyone to hate him more and more.
