The big thing is actual difficult content, you are grinding like hell but there's nowhere to really wave your dick around. I've been doing SDs and Henir spam for 7-8 years

Back in the day only WS and VP were OP, everyone else was equally thrash.

Then Chung came out and he was OP and had an overloaded system so they were forced to make systems for everyone instead of nerfing him.

Then WoTS and AoR came and RF and LK were OP and everyone else was equally thrash.

Then Ara came and it was all downhill from there, each character was even more BS than before, free catches so people don't need to git gud, enhancement events so everyone can get +10s, everything was power-creeped so much the game was way too P2W, the very first person who gets a catch wins, that's why RoF was so OP for so much time.

Pic related, no balanced game should ever have anything above S tier or anything below A tier IMO, too much of a difference for fair play.

This is all strictly PvP though. PvE the game is still fun, hero mode is my jam and this last new dungeon is hard as fuck on my alts.

NA just gave up with sparring / tournament tier list. After all, KOG also implemented the reward - board ranking prizes in there that allowed the meta to actually flow and be more diversed than the stale - normalized one. True, is cancer, but it has more activity than others, due to the natural lack of tournaments in official servers.

No because the barrier entry is higher than ever with Transcendence missions, El Resonance and farming for a SD set to then get a Hero+Void/Henir set plus a nice acc combination.

The enhancement system is basically that you have one cheap item and can enhance to +6 without much effort, but after that you have to use an item to get higher levels without risking breaking.
Item socketing is just get some sage stones from events for free and plop them in until you get the stats you want.

PVE is fun. There are boss raids in this game which is pretty fun too. Also +9 is decent at PVE. You are never really carried in PVE unless there is a whale with +12 wep which literally clears the whole map. Most of the times, you coordinate with your party members which skills youre gonna use to clear the map faster.
