Is fantasy life grindy? Is the game long or does it have a postgame?

I been looking for a game to replace Story of Seasons for me while I await the DLC. I really like be able to be self-efficient by creating my own gear and potions. I'm thinking of picking up Ever Oasis, but also thought about this game to have on the side.
