Bayoneta is a female power fantasy.

The female power fantasy is about escape from constraints and self indulgence.

Bayoneta is incredibly attractive,unabashedly sexual...but has so much power that she can neither be called out for being a giant tease or forced into actually having sex by any means. She has absolutely no fear of rape and anything sexual will happen solely on her terms.

Bayoneta has absolutely no accountability, the elder witches are all dead thus no nagging mother or older sister figures, the only man with enough power to really count as male authority figure is antagonist.

The only other Witch is a sister of near equal power.

The closest thing to a man in her life she treats like a pet;she once again is the one in control.

Beyoneta's motivations are entirely selfish, she acts solely for amusement/pleasure and self-preservation. She saves the world because she lives there and the things that were threatening the world were in her way.

I'd argue that good Bayoneta is the most empowered, female character in video gaming.
