How come there's no good D&D 5E video games?
It's so streamlined you'd think it's a really good version to turn into a video game
And it's experiencing a huge revival with Twitch streams and Critical Role and Roll20 and all that, people would be familiar with the mechanics and the classes and everything.

Playing the table top is always going to be better, not many devs do crpgs anymore, and the MMO market is always going to be compared to DDO.
Sword Coast Legends was loosely based on 5e and that game plays like trash, D&D just never has translated well to video games.
