In terms of combat, I think it's much better than Odin Sphere. But it's still a 2D beat-em-up. So unless you enjoy that genre, you might still find it repetitive.

You can customize your character by choosing which skills they learn. There's also more moves and I feel that the game is generally faster-paced. I haven't played the PS4 OS remake, though, so I'm basing this on the PS2 version. I don't know if the PS4 version has improved combat.

It was free with PS+, which is the only reason I played it. I beat it, but apparently there's a bunch of NG+ content I couldn't be fucked to do, according to my Pinoy friend. He got all excited when I told him I downloaded it.

Same shit is happening with Dragon's Blaze now, some shit tier mobile game I'm playing to kill time but he's spent upwards of 500 bucks on.
