I could see that. It's possible we'll see a back and forth pendulum with the playable characters. With Peter and Miles both playable throughout the game, which I would be mostly okay with. It worked well in Ultimate Spider-Man. The only thing I'd be worried about is how OP Miles is with his venom strike instant win move he has. As long as that's nerfed or done well, I'm fine with switching between the characters.

Don't think we'll be playing as him for the majority of game, what with alternate costumes being announced and touted as a big deal. Logic being that the majority of alternative spidey costumes are from the Peter Parker eras, not the Miles Morales one.

What it looks like is the time placed a glass floor in the game so that it doesn't matter how late you spin your web you will not hit the floor. This probably seemed like a nice idea to keep flow and speed plus it looks cool swinging between cars. I don't think they realized just how jarring it is to see though

Pic related is how I can best describe it. Top is your swing in Spider-Man 2. If your arc went was too deep you landed on the floor and forced to start again while the bottom is ASM2 swing where you just glide forward like iron man until your arc starts going up again.

People not wanting to web zip is why devs get lazy and introduce swingign in areas with no buildings i find.
