I'm glad I never played 3D Sonic, so now the Nostalgia for for those zones is without dilution for me when Mania hits.

It'll be a decent game. People who hate Sonic already hate it, people who wanted an Adventure style game hate it, and those who wanted a true 3D experience or true 2D experience hate it. And yet they'll still buy the game, because lord knows this franchise needs to stay relevant.

Seriously why the fuck is classic sonic here again? Not only does the game have two other gameplay styles that switch to 2D more than half the time but this game will be coming soon after the fully 2D Mania, classic sonic will just feel like a worse version of the game we recently played.

Evetything we've seen so far looks like dogshit.
>Modern Sonic is far too linear in 3D and the 2D sections with the mandatory slow platforming segments look like ass
>Classic Sonic still has godawful physics and level design
>The avatar stages are slow and look like they might rival Boom in terms of how bad they are
>The music is awful
>The story is going to be shite to accommodate Classic Sonic and the avatar character

>Same rehashed stages and bosses as Generations (and Mania, for that matter)

At least Shadow might be kinda important again, though. That's nice I guess. And if that one shitty theory about Infinite having the lost 8th chaos emerald is true, then pic related could come back.

It looks like it'll be a mediocre, disjointed mess of ideas with an angsty story. At least it's easier to laugh at something trying to take itself seriously and failing, instead of something trying to be funny and failing.
