I think they're going to Pass on DKCR3 to Monster games, and hopefully they've learned enough from porting DKCR to 3DS and helping with Tropical Freeze to make the game at least as good as Tropical Freeze, but thats a really high expectation.

Whatever it is that they're working on, they've been working on it since 2014 so I hope it's a new IP.

DKR 3 would be cool, but if not that I'm guessing they're rescuing another forgotten IP. They could probably do well with an F Zero.
