The gunplay is still bland and forgettable, there's no real character customization because he'll look and be built the same by the end of the game. If you aren't into Minecraft that's a good 25-30% of the content turning you off. The story is absolute nonsense, with the Institute being very poorly mishandled. Bethesda wants their cinematic blockbuster storylines with your family members and a big bad guy organization so, so bad that they do it twice.

Fallout is currently the weakest lineup in Bethesda's publishing stable. And it looks like it'll stay that way.
