What is the worst sequel ever made?

it was meh at worst I found once I got over just jumping around the map instead of going places. However if you played it back to back with the original I can imagine the reused areas would probably grate a bit. Emil was a pretty fun character in actual combat and his relationship with Marta while annoying at times at least felt like it had a natural progression. Also I dig the totally not pokemon monster system, getting to fight with creatures you capture and grow is the shit, and all of them were at least viable for basic combat.

I didn't mind it. Emil is a giant faghat, but the pokemon catching was fun. The hoe was fine too. I like her design.
Now if you look at how everything Bioware touches somehow manages to get progressively worse, that is probaby your answer.

I really liked this game. I know people really didn't like Emil and I'll admit his voice was annoying as fuck at first. But Emil had really good character development by Tales standards.

Richter was awesome and a sweet final boss with one of the best final boss themes in the entire series.

I really can't think of much that makes this game stand out from other games, but I do feel like people give it too much hate due to the first game being obviously better.
