it was aliens based off the hysteria in the 50s/60s/70s. Stuff like probing cows and shit.
All thats left from that era of spoopy is the X-Files and even that is dead again.

I still remember adverts for this game on Comedy Central, I was hyped as fuck for it. Back in the day I only found out about vidya through word of mouth and adverts, so I remember feeling excited for this game.

My mum swore it would give me nightmares but bought it for me anyway, spent hours just destroying shit. Good times.

I don't think it needs reviving, it was great but in a world where things like Just Cause exist the sense of destruction and open world is satisfied.

The weapons were cool, the humor was cool, but I don't think it would sell very well today.
