From what I've read I'd recommend Cross Channel. It's an interesting take on the groundhog day loop. The author's most notable work is the LN/anime Humanity Has Declined, which is in itself very good.

Kotaro Uchikoshi writes great sci-fi VNs if you're into that, Ever17, 999 and VLR are his best. Also the SciADV series is quite good,

If you want something out there, Cosmology of Kyoto is quite interesting. It mostly revolves around experiencing various Japanese legends, with a mix of horror and education, and it's mostly known now for being one of the only video games Roger Ebert ever praised.

Remember11 isn't death game/battle royal shit. The first route is surviving on a snowy mountain during a blizzard after a plane crash, and the second route is a guy awakening in a mental hospital's isolation facility on a remote island without any memories besides extremely specific ones and having an unknown assailant trying to murder him. It's mostly about meta mindfucks, far more than the nonary games were, and it requires a lot of playthroughs to piece everything together or watching all the endings on youtube.
