If I only had a PC, I doubt I'd play games. Warhammer Total War was a big disappointment and I don't recall buying a game between that and Civ 5. All I could have bought were the odd 5 or 6 multiplats I got for my PS4 instead.

I dunno anon. I built a PC earlier this year and if it was the only platform I owned, I wouldn't have been able to play BotW at launch, Yakuza 0, Nioh, Digimon World, Persona 5 and Gravity Rush 2. I'm glad the PS4 finally got some exclusives because it had been trash until the start of this year. NieR Automata was broken at launch on PC for a few days too and even now, it barely runs any better than the PS4 Pro version. I don't see the point of limiting your options, especially if you're so engrossed into your hobby that you spend a large quantity of your daily time on browsing imageboards dedicated just for your obsession with glorified toys.

There's a first party AAA title coming every month from now until December right now, with skyrim, Rocket League, Fifa and other titles all coming to handheld for the first time too. I already have two OG Xbox's in my room right now as I type. One modded and one unmodded, and I have an old CRT.

Playing them is not the issue, I also have a shelf full of rare OG Xbox games. What I want to do is emulating and play them in a higher res and framerate than they play on the console. I can play SSX Tricky again right this second if I wanted. But it will be at 480p again. I would unironically pay to buy a Boner X just to play SSX Tricky in 4k.

Since there is no OG Xbox emulator on PC in sight, I am not gonna pass up the Boner X. I've been wanting an OG Xbox emulator for fucking years.

The PS2 version has inferior lighting and graphics than the OG Xbox version. For the large majority of 6th gen console exclusive multiplat games, the OG Xbox version was always the best looking.

The only advantage of the PS2 version was it had some exclusive trick animations to do, since it didn't have the advanced lighting and reflections of the Xbox version.

Thank you lad, I apprciate it. More people at least need to try out Men of War: AS2. With the new Skirmish mode they added for AS2 it becomes a lot more easily accesible too for just setting up random battles and fucking around, instead of either just doing campaign missions like the other MoW games, or spending (good fun) time in the editor setting up battles yourself.

I wish I had better webm making skills, I can't make one more than a few seconds long without the filesize or quality going to shit.

I will add in one thing:

PC, GPD Win (handheld PC), 3DS, PS4, Switch covers pretty much everything.

PC for multiplats and high-end games and emulation, GPD Win for indie, light emulation, and game streaming from main PC, 3DS for 3DS games, and Switch for Switch games (and Wii U ports it will eventually get). PS4 for its exclusives (since the Bone has none anymore really).

Vita is kind of being usurped by PC since all of its exclusives have been creeping over to it over time. (And likely the Switch too)

I don't have a PS4 or an Xbone. They both look very promising though. Most of Xbone's PC ports have been locked behind W10 and I don't want that spyware garbage on my system. Plus things like Rare Replay didn't get a PC port. As I said before I am mostly interested in the Boner X for OG Xbox emulation though.

PS4 looks like it is gradually building up a decent library, I'd say it's almost worth buying. If any of the stuff shown at E3 ends up being good, then I might finally get one.

The Switch looks like trash though.
