No way. They're on the 4K train right now and they want everything to look as realistic as possible to make actually using 4K worth it.
Theres no need to compromize developers are just lazy and would rather up the system requirements and rush assassins creed 20 out faster than optimize their shitty code.

Low poly is 20x more aesthetic when "realistic" graphics always skimp in certain areas to make it possible to run. If you can't do it right, don't do it at all.
