It's not good, it's adequate especially compared to the shitshow Fallout 3 was. It's full of problems, some Bethesda's fault and some Obsidian's fault, but it's not as good as people make it seem even with a ton of mods band aiding it.

It's not hard but I played it recently and it's the more difficult of the jak games
Jak2>Jak and Daxter>Jak 3
Jak 2 had ammo scarcity and some difficult platforming.
jak and daxter had the most difficult platforming with easy as shit combat. Jak 3 was too easy since you never run out of ammo and the weapon mods are way too unbalanced.
I played all three quite recently and they were still enjoyable though.

If you had read the GTA IV threads you will see that "because it's more realistic" is an argument no one ever used. They said maybe "I like the urban setting more", but in general they say IV is better because the Story is way better written, the Characters actually develop (which the Characters in V don't, they stay miserable and going in circles all the time) and that the guns don't feel like airsoft like in V.

The opinion that IV is better than V is pretty valid and based on the gameplay and on how the story is written, not if it's realistic or not.
