It's because you fags never even bought the games in the first place and just run it on your shitty emulators. If you hadn't known MM games never sold too good which is why capcom is never gonna make a new game in a very long time. What are there like over 100 MM games in total and about half those were decent to good? Just be happy we even got that with a franchise that barely breaks even with each installment. I don't know about the other fags but I bought the first bn game from some shitty anime import store and proceeded to buy all the others I could get my grubby little hands on.
Regardless, the Battle Network's battle system was way too fucking good and it deserves to have other takes and expansions on it.

Because how the hell do you make a game in the same genre without downright ripping the series off? The line between fine and tedious is so thin and there's really not much room for tweaking it around without breaking the gameplay.

I have this idea of making an isometric action game like Lunar Knights, with pseudo random encounters that activate a grid that you can roam around in freely and only dictates the area of your attacks. It would be more action oriented than tactics oriented, but deck building would still be the heart of the game.

Problem is, isometric requires a shitload of work and are niche enough already, it seems nobody likes them these days, and adding deck building to the mix seems like the perfect recipe for a flop. No way I'd do it without getting it fully kikestarted so it turns a profit on the first copy sold.
