They started working for the Disney channel. Check out "Two more eggs" on YouTube. It's home star with different characters, but all the same old charm / same voices, made up words, silly Casio keyboard music, etc.

Never played it despite being a big fan of the source material. Figured i'd pick it up if it were to go on sale. Seeing that there's big gaps in between updates to the website it would feel like new content to me and i'd be happy just for that alone.

I stand by SBCG4AP being Telltale's best game.

Not just because Homestar Runner is hilarious, but because the puzzles were well-designed and there was so much optional exploration involved.

It makes me sad that Telltale will never make another game like it again. Fucking movieshit.

I really need to get around to playing them. I couldn't justify the cost when it was on the wii at the time, since funds were always tight, and I ran a toaster when it made the switch to Steam... which is the only version to get sales.

I bought the wii exclusively to play smash but this bundle was literally a kojima-level of surprise to me.
If you loved the webtoons, you'll love this series no question asked.

Yeah that was why they took the initial break. I remember Matt said that recording all the voices and dialogue trees for all 5 episodes raped his voicebox so they were going to take a leave of absence for the time being so he could rest his voice and they could focus on personal things (the game being a huge timesink for both of them).

I guess during the sabbatical they drifted to other things that required more of a commitment which left less time for H*R. Unfortunate for the fans but I'm glad they're both doing well and some how managed to stay true to their never wanting to sell out thing. Amazing they never turned Homestar into some franchise that whored itself into everything.

And we still get infrequent gems here and there I guess. This one was great.

I was genuinely excited about their minecraft game when I first heard about it since I figured it'd be a return to form and I mean, fuck man it's not like I gave a shit about some of their other IPs before playing their games but I still dug them.

I never played it, but I gave it to my late friend and she seemed to really like it considering she was a homestar runner fan years and years ago. If anything, it looked faithful to the source material.

i love this series

I know OP post was about the first game, but finding all the things to set on fire in the second was sort of hilarious. Less so because from the burning and more so from the mundane things and Strong Bad's snarky comments on them. Each game had a bunch of "collectables", but that was easily the goofiest set of them.
That said, I enjoyed the first game, but found it very odd that Strong Bad actually smacked Homestar around (as he never did so in the webtoon to my knowledge). It just seemed rather non-HR-like, but I guess they were still cutting their teeth on ideas.
That aside, rigging the sporting event obliterated my sides.

HR just seemed fairly peaceful to me, at least later on, to where I never really saw much of it, but I haven't seen every single vid. I had reached a mindset to where I figured Strong Bad would rather not even give homestar the time of day (and probably go somewhere else to do something interesting) than bash him.
