But the first time I played Final Fantasy VIII I found a way to utterly break the game in the first four hours of gameplay without a guide, to the point where I legitimately breezed through the rest of the game without issues.

That shit was pathetic.

At least other Final Fantasy games make you wait until the mid-point before you can really break it with fuckery.
