The basic version is more than enough for me as a casual very slow leveling player. Personally the Morrowind expansion is too expensive to be worth it for me but if it goes on sale during the summer sale I'll definitely pick it up for the new class alone.

Currently playing GW2 and its my favorite current MMO for sure. BDO I played the trial and not sure if I want to buy the game.

I haven't tried ESO or Tree of Savior though. I don't really care for Elder Scrolls so I am not sure if I would even like the game.

If you don't like elder scrolls, you won't like ESO. For better or for worse, its literally an online elder scrolls game. The gameplay is essentially exactly the same, but with better combat than the rest of the series. That's pretty much it. The world is retardedly massive, and filled with shit to do everywhere you go.

It just boggles my mind why some people are SO AGAINST a TES mmo. If they'd just play the damn game, they'd see its literally just an online version of TES. It's way less MMO than people believe, and a lot more TES. Just online instead.

WoWs combat is a joke, the game was the king of mmos but that was a long time ago

ESO would have great potential but it is behind a massive paywall. The most enjoyable thing was to steal shit and sell it to the thievesguild, stealing occupied over 50% of my playtime in ESO

Guild Wars 2 may not have the build diversity of Guild wars 1, but its one of the few MMOs where you are happy to see player coming in Openworld and with the ongoing updates Endgame, wvw and pvp are in a pretty good place.
