In the year 2050, the church of Anita Sarkeesian stole a time machine, and used it to erase all video games from history. Luckily, the time police were able to use antique gaming hardware in order to prevent any hardware (consoles, peripherals, etc.) from being erased from the time continuum. The same cannot be said for gaming software, however.
The time police, however, have a partial solution. They have with them a time restorer device, but the device has limited capabilities, and can only be used once. Due to this limitation, the time restorer can only work on one publishing company. This one company will be the only company to ever publish any gaming software.
For example, if Capcom is chosen, there will only be Capcom games on all consoles. REmake will still exist for the Gamecube, but any game not published by Capcom will not exist on the Gamecube.
The time police have randomly selected various people from different time periods and backgrounds. They have been requested to argue for what they think this publishing company should be. The best argument will decide the publishing company that gets to keep its games in the timeline.
You have been chosen as one of those people. Which publishing company do you choose, and how do you argue for it?
