I think PC gaming fucking sucks right now, and I am saying that as a lifelong PC gamer. It seems that you are more successfull if you make a shitty unfinished game and market it heavily towards streamers than if you make an actually good SP game. Most of the playerbase arent real gamers anyway they just play there 1 game like LoL, Dota, CSGO or whatever and they wont touch anything else. All the most played and most popular games on PC look like absolute shit and are years old by now or still in Early Access apart from very few exceptions. All the kickstarter stuff rarely amounts to anything worth playing and most of the Indie games are just the same fucking 2.5D sidescrollers anyway. The Steam Sales got way worse and a lot of the PC exclusives died out. The PC basically doesnt have any exclusives apart from all these shitty MP games you can watch right now on Twitch.

I mean just look at the most played games on PC, and these are honestly the people that claim they play PC for mods or 60FPS or whatever technical advantage... they all play old or unfinished games that look like shit. Almost all of it EA shit, old MP games or MMOs.

I thought Watch Dogs 2 was innovative and fun. It's a drone-based open world steath action game where you hide on an enemy base and achieve your objectives remotely using one of the drones you have. Pretty weird idea for a game and it works.

The Elder Scrolls Online is THE BEST MMORPG at the moment. The state of the genre is sad, and TESO is not a perfect game, but it is still the best of its kind.

I play every 3ds game with the 3d turned all the way up and I get legitimately dissapointed when a game doesn't even have itusable. I would have much preferred an HD successor to it than the switch (which I do like) with the same docking feature, just so I can keep playing new games with the 3d effect on. I have every current platform and a high end pc yet handhelds are my favorite systems to use, once the 3ds and vita stop recieving support handheld consoles may as well be dead.

I dont really know but the PS4 seems to have a few exclusives worth playing doesnt it ? I only hear good stuff about Bloodborne and things like Uncharted/GoW and others seem exciting. Atleast they use the graphical capabilities.

I might have to upgrade my PC soon if I want to play the new games, for now they are still running fine but I will soon get to a point where I want an upgrade. And I am seriously asking myself what the advantage of a new graphics card towards a PS4 really is. Sure I get a bit of a better experience in multiplats but then again I will be missing out on the Sony exclusives like Bloodborne/Uncharted/GoW and so on. I dont know if that tradeoff is worth it for me personally.

Infinite Warfare has a stupidly fun and amazing multiplayer. It's easily my favourite COD mp ever and the only one I've ever truly loved. It's one of my favourite games this gen by far, absolutely love it, not even memeing/lying/trolling. I'm also 31 years old this month have been gaming since 1990.

Same here, I'm a longterm PC user. (15 years, got my first PC when I was 10)
I used to enjoy PC gaming not because of Multiplats or better graphics, it actually had good developers taking care of our niche community. The golden days of CS 1.6, Warcraft 3, Half Life and all the other Lan titles and Strategy games are sadly over. When I hear the term "PC Gamer" nowadays I think about some 14 year old teenager buying his first prebuild gaming PC to play Minecraft on it, record videos for his youtube and start flamewars in League of Legends.

I also don't enjoy sitting at my PC anymore after work. In the last weeks I just come home and chill infront of my TV, sitting on my couch and casually playing Wii and PS4 games. I got used to the 30FPS lock again and it doesn't bother me that much anymore.

Maybe we are just getting older man, I recently started a fulltime job and I also am thinking about moving to consoles. I recently played Doom on PC and stuff like that is amazing with mouse and keyboard because you can just get fast paced gameplay like you wouldnt be able to get on a console. FPS are pretty much the only thing keeping me on PC for now.

I started out not really wanting to buy a console this generation as I have a decent PC for all the multiplat stuff and I thought the exclusives alone didnt justify a purchase. And now I am in a weird spot because I would love to play the PS4 exclusives and there are enough for me to want to buy a PS4 but on the other hand I dont know how long this generation will last and if I shouldnt just wait it out another 2-3 years and get a PS5 right at release. Also there is the decision between a regular PS4 and a PS4 Pro but since I dont have a 4k TV (yet) I am also unsure if it's worth the extra money.

I don't get the praise for the souls games. They are more tedious than fun. I played the first one for about 20 hours but still can't get into it. It's just either you pay attention and advance like a slug or you run through everything hoping not to get hit and you don't get to experience anything they intend you to do.
Also, it doesn't get easier because you get better it only gets easier because you get more HP and better armor so stuff doesn't one shot you.

I still owned him, I even turned off aim assist as a final insult

This is a really good game. Takes the top spot of best game I've ever played and I've played a lot, currently 450+ games on Steam.

It's an overrated mess, a 7/10 at most.
