Just like S2, everyone you meet dies and the only people left are Javi, Clem, his brother's wife and his brother's wife's son. None of your choices matter, and there aren't even any major choices to make. Off the top of my head I can't remember any of them, but I can still remember and still see people arguing over helping Kenny in the meat locker or saving Larry. The game ends on the same note as Mass Effect 3 where they say "BUY THE UPCOMING SHIT WITH CLEM IN IT". Your choices in S2 didn't matter or carry over to 3 in a meaningful way. It's a garbage piece of shit game that should've ended after Season 1. Telltale is fucking trash.

I played the first one and it is amazing if you like fast paced games. Has a similar feel than the new Doom if you have played that before. The story is pretty over the top and there is some comedy in it. It has kind of a B-movie feel so if you like that stuff it will be right up your alley. Ah yeah and the sword combat is amazing.

Serious Sam 3 is probably the dumbest most repetitive game I have ever played in my life. That being said if you have a friend or a few to play coop with it is fun. I would describe it as the worst game I played through to the end and still had fun with.

Actual Elite player here, it can be fun if you play with some other people. Otherwise it's a technical masterpiece of boring grind.
Like, a 3 miles wide one foot shallow play pool, but made extremely well.

I do plan to get the season pass only if discounted, there is new content ahead but I won't pay it fully. They release content little bits at the time so, I won't throw money in I don't find it worthwhile.

It adds multi crew ships, custom upgrades on ships and planet landings but some people says that's a bit of an half assed thing, not so polished and fun. Other says that DLC content should have been vanilla elite and not a pay add on. Now they will add aliens in the upcoming 2.4, let's see how it will work. Anyway vanilla and season pass players can play together, with some limitations (eg. No multi crew invites for vanilla players).

Shadow Warrior 2 and Sonic CD are about all I'm looking for on sale this year. Maybe Darkest Dungeon.

I'd say Hyper Light Drifter would be worth it for ~5$, I had some fun with it. They also added a 60 FPS mode only slightly after I finished it, which would have made the whole thing a bit better.

How cheap do Platinum games usually go? I really want Nier Automata but it's fairly new and from a Japanese publisher and I don't usually see Japanese games go super cheap.

Depends when you buy it. The further from release date, the cheaper it gets. It can go as low as 20 bucks if you wait long enough. Nier Automata isn't that old so maybe 40-50.

Depends on the publisher. The Activision ones almost never drop to a decent price because their base prices haven't changed since release. MGR goes for really cheap all the time. Squeenix is about average across all of their games, but it's a popular release that's barely half a year old so don't expect more than 25% if you're lucky.
