Furious at humanity Zeus wants to go back and destroy everyone but the other god tells him to visit one last home. This home was inhabitated by an old couple that where very very poor. Despite their poverty they shared the little food they had, and asked if they wanted to sleep there for the night.

Zeus got pleasantly surprised and flooded the whole area with all the houses of the ones that denied them, then built a fucking huge temple filled with gold, food and other stuff, made them tend to the place and live there, and also made them live for hundreds of years until they at the moment of their deaths turned into trees.

I don' tknow for sure, I do know that the rather greek name of "gnosis" (or "gnossos" when un-anglicized) was used to refer to xenosaga's flavor of xeno eldritch monsters Watching that shit for the first time at 9 or 10 sure was memorable

Kind of worried about this game guys. Stream really made me wonder about things. Lack of outfits, digging for collectibles (maybe lack of RNG which might be better), having to build up to use arts/change weapons so you spend way too long at the start of battles doing nothing, and once again AI are too dumb to use arts correctly. I mean I am hopeful for Xenoblade 2 but it feels like a lot of step backward from X.

Charging up arts with autoattacks isn't the greatest, however judging by the damage autoattacks do relative to the previous games, they are much stronger. Rex even manages to make short work of the small enemies at the start of the stream without any other party members. I don't know if you guys recall how far using no arts and just one character in the party would get you in XC and XCX.

The way collectibles work is an absolute improved, they appear in bunches and it's clearer what type of item you're going to get judging by the location you find the orb in.

XC2 to me feels like a game that was pulled from some alternate timeline where XCX never existed. It's almost as if Takahashi got scared by all the criticism against X that he completely dropped everything to do with that game, even the good changes like the deeper combat, fast running speed, amazing jumping, etc. etc.

I hope I'm wrong but from what I'm seeing the combat is a definite step down. I can't believe they actually took out secondary cooldowns. It was a genius mechanic that stopped you from just automatically firing off your Arts as soon as they were off CD. Yeah, and now it looks to be even more so, with how the combo system allows you to do even more damage depending on how you're positioned. Avoiding counter spikes will also be a hell of a lot easier. Plus, each part of an auto attack combo does charge more of the arts than the previous one did.

I don't think it'll be as slow as some parts of the demo made it look. The guy playing wasn't the best and even then, he was still doing stuff on a pretty regular basis during the boss battle. Remember too that a Blade's arts are already charged when you switch over to it. His axe also attacked a lot slower than his sword, and he used that for a lot of the stream.

I noticed each auto attack seems to increase its damage based on the numbers of the first attack. Like if the first does 30 damage, the second and third will be 60 and 90.
