What is /v/'s opinion of pic related?
I never played the older games but I'm having a blast with it. I think I'm about to reach the end (I just did the planet where you repel the invasion and shoot down warships with the anti-air canon and about to invade their own planet.) and it's easily a strong 8 for me, very much enjoyable.
If I get to nitpick on something it's that it's 30 FPS and not 60 but framerate is not really a dealbreaker for me so it's not a biggie.

You're like halfway through. It gets worse but fortunately it was rushed so right when it gets unbearable it ends abruptly.

Alright for a remake, but could have been better. Shouldn't have shackled itself so closely to the movie. Of course, that's probably more the fault of whoever took over the film's direction and probably getting to dictate how much Insomniac could deviate from the script.
