Didn't it start off on Xbox and with MS? They should buy it back, they would probably treat them better than EA plus it would be a decent exclusive, people still play TF1 on Xbox One granted all they play is Attrition or Hardpoint.

Respawn is absolutely committed to the Titanfall franchise, seeing as its their ONLY franchise right now until the "unannounced Star Wars game" comes out. They're already working on branching out, doing a mobile game (Titanfall Assualt) and a pseudo-rerelease of Titanfall 1 as a Korean MMO (Titanfall Online). They know their fans, their DLC model is appreciated, and their recent dev talks show how much they put into their games.

Respawn Entertainment owns the Titanfall IP in its entirety, always has. EA got the rights to publish both games, but Microsoft was the one who threw their advertising weight behind TF1, not EA.

Titanfall 2 is unironically goty 2016

I'm sad that Titanfall 2 didn't become more popular. The campaign and multiplayer were genuinely fun and well made.

I blame the release date for that somewhat.

I was willing to blame EA for its release, but it's been like a year now or something since then, and the game has gotten nothing, but praise and it's not like anything has popped up since then. I'm surprised people aren't playing it from word of mouth.

It's sad that this game is just not being loved as a whole from the community other than the few people that are actually invested in it.

i think it's sad that many people didn't even realise that titanfall 2 improved on many aspects of the first game and that it's actually a really good game.
i remember reading a lot how people thought it was just as barren as the first game and moved on to other games without even giving tf2 a try.
