Holy shit I just played this game and it is far ahead of its time.

It has game play better than some GBA games.

Should I play the wario games just in order (1-4)? Which one is considered the best?

The 4 games are pretty good, 4 is my favorite. After that Wario went a bit downhill.

Wario Ware is awesome (almost all titles)
I don't like World,
Wario Shake it is ok, very good looking game.
Skip the DS game, Master of disguise.
I heard that Wario Land Virtual boy is awesome too.

IMO you just played it. Wario Land 3 is one of the best games that nobody knows about. I'm with the first dude, just play them in order.
