That vid also explains why it's hard to do a full hack/jailbreak of the PS4 (and probably XB1 too). Sony & MS essentially removed the southbridge and replaced it with a custom closed OS with no way in.

No worthwhile exclusives.

Afaik even the xbox360 wasn't successfully hacked until 2010 and even then they still needed to install a physical chip inside those.
Also, everything on xbone comes out on PC too, so there's less reason to do it.
