Yeah vidya is not sport, that much is true. Chess does not involve physical exertion though so that definition is wrong.

It's a sport in the same way Nascar is considered a sport: It isn't really a sport but is competitive, is sponsored by major companies, and have very large amounts of viewers. Chess is frequently considered a sport as well.

But Chess and Nascar don't air on ESPN or other sports channels. Nascar has it's own channel and subcategory: Motor Sports. E-sports are E-sports, not sports. There is a reason why these classifications exist.

There is more documentation on Batman than Abraham Lincoln, if there's ever an apocalypse and a future intelligent species comes across fragmented pieces of data, Batman would be a real human being and the 16th president fiction. There's countless videos of Batman, after all, a few still images are much more easily fake-able.

Saying something isn't real doesn't make it any different in the grand scheme of things, everything is real.
